Pope Francis paid a silent visit to Auschwitz, and the photos are powerful

1
From 1942 to 1944, at least 1.1 million people were killed at the Nazi concentration camp known as Auschwitz.
Many of us learn about this in history class or see the horrifying grainy, black and white photographs of human beings lined up for execution. Images like those are haunting and important to see, but no experience can come close to actually visiting the camp, which now operates as a memorial to those who were killed inside its gates.

Please DO NOT use the word “Nazi concentration camp” alone! German Nazi concentration camp is the correct name. This is very misleading as anybody can be associated with the Nazi. In Auschwitz, people were brutally murdered by Germans not by some enigmatic alien Nazis from the the far universe !!!!
Once again, I can”t stress enough how such misrepresentation of history is harmfull and unjust to us Poles. Please, show some education and respect.
